The fact that the Finn from the pole position would have easily win the race. Since 2001, each pole man in Barcelona also won the race.
So, it is no surprise at all, even he made a bad start, (Massa led the race after the green light), but superb Kimi made it happen, his cool touch, ! good speed and reliable car brings him a comfort win .
Fernando Alonso? King Juan Carlos, who had always brought luck to Fernando Alonso, was not yesterday talisman and he made his first retirement of the season and also his first failed-to-finish of the 2008 season in the Spanish Grand Prix. In his 6 (six) appearances in Spanish Grand Prix, he made 4 (four) podiums, poor Alonso :(
What surprise me most was Takuma Sato... He made a great effort and he even made 9 (ninth) position before finished in 13 (thirteenth) place, everybody knows Super Aguri is having a big financial trouble and even almost missed the race, but they made it with in the end. Optimism and great work of the team is really paid off.
Honda, especially Jenson Button finally, made their point, great relief for Honda and Mr. Ross Brawn, even tough their car is very ugly with the elephant's ear style in th! e front nose :)
